The cybersecurity project pipeline is constantly evolving. Changing threats, enterprise business needs, regulatory and customer expectations for security and privacy present unlimited wants and needs. The pipeline is the ‘place’ to vet each project, estimate lifecycle costs, identify business value, prioritize against other needs, identify required resources, and schedule the project.

Business Case

For each project that comes through the pipeline, a business case is developed. The business case outlines the rationale, scope, business value, stakeholders, resource participants and revised cost estimates. The document is used in socialization, enterprise prioritization, and project initiation gates.
